I've used one to press about 2500 pens. Works great. Got mine at Woodcrafters.

Here is the next batch. Made with honduras rosewood. Messy but pretty.

Thanks, you are right. They are basically the same pen as the Classic American. Quite a bit cheaper at under $6. That also include a small rubber "O" ring which makes a RB/FP conversion...

I would also be interested in purchasing 100 of the pen tubes when available.

The pen kits are from steebar. They are number PK-1019. I use 2 stage HUT for the finish after sanding with 800 grit. I bought a piece of cocobolo from our local wood supply and cut to order.
