I hate Windows and am a dyed in the wool Apple fan but the Sync system is really the best out there.
Really nice job.
I would always keep that inside but I guess if you got caught out in the middle of a job you could throw a tarp on it.
I just think that lowering the blades till the gauge moves is so easy I can't believe they even make a planer without one.
Really nice design.
Nice work.
I love the contrasting wood. Gorgeous, and as you'll soon see when you step away from the project for the first time when it was complete you always see changes that should have been made but that...
IF it is that close after 15 years that is impressive. especially if you used a steel rule. I have mine set so that it kicks out a few thousandth's at the back but I am not really sure it needs to be...
That's actually really funny.
Even if it's the same exact tool, my belief is that there is generally more value in a Lee Valley (or other reputable seller's) offering than the Harbor Freight offering. Presumably, someone has done...
Ya that does sound cool.

New here and was wondering if there are any woodworking clubs in Elkhart Indiana?
I got lucky and was one of the first to get the new 1023 even though there had been people waiting for a year to get one. I have been pretty happy with the quality so far.
If I had to measure my rough lumber every time before I put it through the planer I would drive me crazy.
Well the end mounted fence is making a comeback on the 12" grizzly jointer I think so maybe that one is really cutting edge.
Uh, let me just say, that may be my favorite thing ever. Brilliant, other then I wouldn't have put the saw in front of the wheel well and I hope it holds a bunch of sheet goods underneath the top.
Great bench and even better write up.
I dont like the 735 very much but I must say the gauge that shows you the board has been picked up by the rollers is nice and I can't believe that the Grizzly 15 inch planer doesn't have such a basic...
