This was my first attemt at M&T jointery. It's a 6'x7' door between my shop and garage. I used barn door hardware to slide it. It allows me to open it enough to get in and out of the shop or open it...
I couldn't find it with out the link.:(

Is PVC not an option? Will it hold up to 120 PSI?
Brian...yes. That is a stair tread. I can remove that one and the one above it for longer boards. Thanks for the look.
I have the saws in place and the MDF is installed. I will pick up the hardboard to cover it all some time this week. I'll need to re-calibrate the RAS for it's new location. Now where'd I put that...

Karl...The main bench that you see is a little under 12', the height is 35" and the top depth is 30", It accomodates the RAS travel needs and happens to be the width of the stairs. About the...

Here's the first bench. It's gonna hold the RAS and the CMS. Hopefully I'll get it completed tomorrow. I gotta get started on my son's raised panel doors for his kitchen.
More to come tomorrow.
Yes, UPS delivered the replacement top for the saw. It weighs 65 pounds and was put in a box that was 6 times too big to ship in. They did fill the rest of the box with those peanuts. At least at the...
With that short of a span, you'll be just fine for 500 pounds, if not more.

I'm a little confussed here...I spent a lot of money on this saw and would have liked to have received it in ready to use condition.
Ok, suppose you bring your new car home and...

I agree with you. In time it will not have a "mirror like" finish. And I'll deal with the finish of the older tool at that time. But I ordered a new saw and shouldn't have to start off by...
I spoke with Grizzly's Technical support yesterday. He suggested I take an orbital sander to it using oil and 100-150 grit paper. I used 120 grit. Well, it took the stains out. But left those...

I finally got to the point where I can put the G1023S and the G1182HW together. I started with the G1182HW Jointer. I'm ready to clean off the protection grease they put on it at the factory. I've...
Alright, I'll ask. What is an MSUV? It's not in the Acronym list.
Thanks guys. I put the garage door in the shop to make it easier to move equipment, large projects and wood in and out. No cars here.
I put the last coat of spackle on this morning. Start sanding...
Thanks Mike. The shop is 21' wide by 24' deep. I have an area above it that is 12' by 44' for storage also.
