I just found an old post by myself which revealed the turners name was Curt Fuller. Now to find the tutorial.
I have been off the forum for a couple of years and am trying to get pumped up to get back into turning.
A couple of years ago, someone (can't remember the name) had an excellent tutorial for...
Robert, they always told me that TU was a basket weaving school. Now I believe it.
If I could learn that at A&M I would go take it.
Really neat.

I am building 21 church replicas out of poplar. One of the church ladies is going to paint doors, windows etc. with acrylics. Do I need to spray with something to prevent the acrylic from bleeding...
Tell me this. Will VicMarc jaws fit on the Grizzly chuck?
Robert, have you considered glueing the blank to a glue block, turning, sanding and then parting off? I hate it when I stick the tool into the chuck.
I am convinced that segmenting is in four dimensions, although I can't define said fourth. That's my story for not fitting and I'm sticking to it.
Robert, you mean you don't cut your segments precise enough that they will fit properly without cheating with dowels, LOL? Beautiful piece.

Now that would be a hot seller. GPS that would guide me to the item I'm trying to find in the grocery store. Then I really don't give a rat's behind how many choices I have and wouldn't have...
Folks, let me say first that I am truly blessed to have lived 70 years in this country. I traveled extensively during my career and know how lucky I am to have been born here. In spite of its...
Bonnie, you reminded me of a story from my childhood. My mother used to make a holiday salad using green gage plums (whatever they are). The grocery store in my small town didn't carry them and...
Steve, we do have a Keurig. Just didn't want to open that box.
I know it is another sign of my age, but does anyone else get frustrated with all the choices you have to make in buying groceries. It's not so much making the choice, as I know what I want, it is...
After paying $20 for razor blades yesterday, I've decided to try an electric shave one more time. It has been probably 30 years since I've used one.
What are your opinions about:
1. Electric...
OK, I give. How did you do that? I like.
Sounds like a window unit is the more popular suggestion. Today was a record high for this date in College Station..106. Supposed to be 93 on Tuesday. Wonder what the wind chill will be.
How do A/C's handle all the dust? (I'm assuming window unit)
Now that we have had our first days of triple digit temperatures, I am thinking of adding another fan. Currently I have a 36" floor barrel fan that does move a lot of air, but was thinking of a wall...
She must have read a thread on here a year or so ago, where someone woke up in the middle of the night and their table saw in the basement was running (or some similar circumstance). There is always...
Robert, beautiful piece as usual. Now I would like to see one almost identical to this with your normal treatment of the neck and mouth. Doesn't look like you without that.
Okay, Roger wins the prize! Unplugged it, went to town to run a couple of errands, plugged it in and ..........voila!!!
Not bad for a guy who bleeds green.
Thanks Roger, will do and will report back.
Went out this morning to turn on my Jet 1642EVS-2 and nothing happened. The RPM light and the light on the back of the inverter are both illuminated. Reset breaksr, switched power on and off...
That's a good idea, Jared. I like that one a whole lot better than paying $5-$6 per can for the mix. (Almost $25/gallon)
