I would be hesitant to machine the impeller bore unless it can be rebalanced - the impellers are quite massive and imbalance would not be a good thing at 3000rpm. Clearvue has a 15" impeller that...
Watch out for the inch/metric shaft size issue...

I have the Triton stands. They have something like UHDP, no rolling gadgets so material slides straight. Tops also clamp any 2x material and tilt 0-90, everything secures tightly and they are strong....

The 8-hole pattern on the Festool disks is different (further toward the edge) than the Makita/Bosch disks. They're not compatible.
