Save up and get something decent ;)
Look at the ccs of the saw, not just the bar length. Some of the cheaper brands fit longer bars than they can really handle to make them look more impressive....
You can probably print to one of those via a network print server, but you wont be able to scan or use the card readers. If you connect via a host PC then at least you can do those functions on the...
Be aware that there can be issues with some printers and those print servers. They are usually fine if the printer is a decent one that supports PCL or Epson high level code. The really basic ones...
A small burr cutter in a dremel tool does a good job on seashells. Just grind away a small hole.

You could probably get away with diluting it with more petrol, but thats a pain. And if you clog up a fuel filter or set of spark plugs you are out more than the $25 disposal fee :(
I suggest you...
Happens sometimes :o
Did the tree impact trunk first on a knob of high ground or something? Usually the lighter upper branches or surrounding smaller trees will cushion the impact, but if it...
Air drying outside first is the best idea, under shelter but with good airflow through the stack. 3-12 months for 1" boards, depending on wood species / climate / season. It should dry down to 10-14%...
Very few things are TOTALLY waterproof.
I remember seeing a web page a while back where they tested the drying rate for various end coatings. The wax-emulsion (Anchorseal etc.) stuff performed...
Apparantly you can often get a good deal on Ex Rental saws at some HD stores. They are usually 65 cc Makita saws, made by Dolmar in Germany. They are a professional quality saw more like the top end...
If it's going to be painted what about laminating it up from plywood? Can be made as one piece then and no worries about end grain joins.
I'm sorta thinking about how the guys build up rocking...
Yup... looks like one of the small Norwood mills and seems to be in pretty good condition. They are a good little mill. Well worth the effort to get it going again, they are about $3,500 to buy a new...
The problem is you are looking at the same item, but seeing different things.
You see a crappy piece of mdf and plastic held together with staples :o
Your wife see a piece thats the size, shape...
I would suspect interference from nearby networks too just by looking at the list of detected access points.
You could try changing the channel your access point is using from the default, you might...
It will be OK, the amount is so small in comparison to the size of the gas tank the engine will never notice. I would do it just after you fill up though.

Router bridge :)
Hot melt glue some wedges to the bottom to get it on the right angle then just shave off everything thats above the line.
I know it's loud and messy, but it's quick, easy...
You need to be able to plane and joint the boards somehow. Otherwise the glue joints wont line up perfectly and/or the table may not be flat.
A jointer and planer are the best way to do this, but...
Conventional bed - you probably need something other than pocket screws for the critical connections. Plus the need to be able to dismantle it for moving.
But a captains bed is a different...
Thats the reson you HAVE to finish both sides....
The warp is cause by uneven mositure, either from your finishing or just from the weather changing.
Good news is.. it should get better. Flip...
That will be your problem - instant dull chain :o
Personally I prefer to hand file using a simple guide to keep the angles correct. You can sit down on a tree stump and sharpen the chain as...
Another way to get your feet wet is to harvest a stack of logs and get a local mobile sawyer in for a day to cut them. He will have a high prodution hydralic mill and should be able to cut 1500 bd ft...
Big logs in remote locations.
Band mills are a real rare item in this part of the world, the trees are generally just too big.
Some pics of us sawing up a 52" dia cypress log just before Xmas....
OK.. from the Dept. of Harebrained Ideas...
Mount the table so it swivels on an axle through the centre. Mount the axles on a frame with end stands and put it all on castors. When not in use the...
I run a swingblade sawmill as a hobby, has a few advantages over a bandmill if you are sawing bigger logs, or have limited equipment for moving them.
If your woods haven't been logged for 70 odd...
