i have the same saw - likely the first generation of it. i use the saw only for ressaw - using as 1" carbide blade. came with euro guides, but after a bit i changed to carters - but i found them...
look for a heavy duty keyboard tray mechanism that mounts under a desk - pulls out, swivels left/right, moves up/down, and tilts.
got some pics of the unit i have - it's really heavy - slides out...
plus one - me too

i use the same amount of hardener - the dry (dust) pigment does not really add to the mass.
jc
i use dry painter's pigment - all kinds of colors - and mixing them to get right to color you need. https://gamblincolors.com/oil-painting/color/dry-pigments/
i mix the color in the resin and then...

i spent the last covid winter in the shop teaching myself kumiko. i did not make anything larger than table lamps and a few small boxes. it was a really satisfying process. look for an old fwwing...
i too use shop sawn veneers - 5/64. usual practice is to do as you described - solid wood band around the substrate - then veneer over to the edge - which does leave a line. but if it is a design...
I have an older mm16. Never like the euro guides so went to carters- again was not too happy- then Laguna ceramics and have liked them from the start. Great blade support and easy to set.
jc
i've used laguna ceramics on a mm16 for 8+ years -have not had any problems - started with the european guides that came with the saw - then tried carters and finally lagunas - totally happy with the...
here's 2 pieces i did several years ago when holly "boards" were not too uncommon - but still kind of rare finds - the fish are holly and ebony. the box is holly with several species for the...
this is very "good stuff"
i run a 1" resaw king on a mm16 at 29k tension - for many years without any problems

i go to local thrift shops and buy up old t-shirts - mostly kid sizes - when they have sales it's usually $5 per bag

for tom (or others) - why no wax on brass screws?
jerry
My mm16 has flat tires with 1” carbide blade- teeth just hang over the edge- only used for re-sawing. 14” delta has crowned tires - blade sits center on the crown

the op said that unibond glue lasts about a year - i keep the bottle of unibond in the freezer between pours - i've not really tracked the dates but doing that helps it last more than year.
jc
during the quarantine time i jumped off the kumiko cliff - these are 2 of the projects.
i worked out of the desmond king books, some you tube vids, and there is a good article in fww'ing by...
agree with others that it looks like the excalibur - i have the 30" - it has been a great saw - very nice that the head stock pivots rather than the table. i have not seen a dust collector setup for ...
+1 for joewoodworker.com
i keep my jugs of unibond in the freezer between glue-ups - lasts a lot longer
jerry
i too think that is way over priced. not uncommon to usually see them for 1500-2000 - but these days with availability problems they may go a bit higher.

i live up in sawmill country - mills cannot meet market demand - there are not enough trucks to haul logs - there are not enough trucks to haul cut lumber. and there is so many black trees (burned)...
