That is just beautiful!
Very nice Scott, I have heard about sandblasting a turning but dont believe I have seen one until now. I am not sure yet what I think about it, but the turning is very nice and the finial is...
Very nice Roger, great looking piece of wood.
Personaly I believe I white finial from holly would look wonderful on this. The wood is so dark as it is I think a white finial would be the perfect contrast and go well with the sap wood.
Well done those are all very nice, I do like the last one the best.
I have been doing a lot of turning but havnt been taking many photos lately. Will try to get some taken to post later this week.
Very nicely done on the shape of the box Kathy, I agree with the above comments on the lid shape. Mike S does some of the most beautiful boxes I have seen, he has certainly been a big influence on my...
Congrats Bernie, there is no way I could turn so much in so short a time, maybe some day.
I saw this on Youtube earlier today and had the same reaction as everyone else, simple but a great idea.
Very nice Kathy. Good tool control on your burner, I still have a hard time signing my name.
I use the raptors and like them just fine. But when I can get the money I will be ordering Reed Grays system, I have watched the Youtube vids and seems like just what I need.
Congrats Baxter
I was at my local florest here in town last fall and asked her about them, she sold me about a dozen for a quarter each. If you have one close stop in and ask them.
Well done Toby, I love turning boxes.
Congrats Bernie!

I am one of the jealous ones, very nice!
Nicely done John, I really like the burl points in the first piece. Nice form on all of them.
I saw that a while ago, certainly proves the point.
Very nice Glen. I have only used mine to sign my work so far.
Robert that is a great looking form, and I love that wood, very nice all around.
Amazing, your work should be in museums Mike and Cynthia, just beautiful.
I believe that a member here, Bob Hamilton(sp?) has a youtube video about his shop vac system. I have watched it several times and am considering doing that myself. Just do a search for his name on...
Thank you all for the nice comments it means a lot to me.
Mike S. thank you very much!
