I added a counterweight to my bench top Buffalo 15 about five years ago and it works great. I believe the General is very similar to the Buffalo 15. You can lift the table with two fingers now. All...
Look up Oneway Manufacturing. You can order their chucks with the 1”X8TPI RH/LH adaptors to fit your lathe. They also have faceplates that will fit both the 1” LH and RH threads.
You do very nice work Mark.
I’m really enjoying following along.
That makes two of us. Looking good Mark .
I found a T110 a few years ago, less than an hour from my shop. It came with a very handy bolt on slider attachment. I really like this setup. I think it was near the end of the green ones, the...
Here is a diagram of your machine.

Looks like the part your looking for is P-35 = Oil Cup No. 801.
I’ve rebuilt a couple of...
The breaker is what protects the rest of the circuit. So in this case the 20amp breaker would only allow 20amps to go to the 30amp equipment down stream. This is fine.
The other way around 30amp...
My 5hp Unipoint will cut a compound miter. They’re a bit of a different bird in the radial saw world though.
In the shop I use my SCMS for breaking down rough stock and the Unipoint for pretty much...
I have one that I bought used several years ago, it’s been a very good machine. It’s something that I didn’t realize how much I would use it until I had one. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one...
Outstanding job Patrick.
I agree that the lack of electronics isn’t a bad thing at all. From my experience with all kinds of machinery, that’s what fails. Long before mechanical parts are worn...
I did the counter weight and cable connected to the table on a couple of presses. Works very well.

Never tried using it in place of a return spring. Should work...
Very nice work.
The older presses were very well made, you will be very happy with the time spent.
I have a Buffalo 15 and I used one of these springs to replace the return spring in mine....
I use the 12” (300mm) groover on a RAS with a 1” arbor. My tablesaw doesn’t have the capacity for that groover. I see no reason why you couldn’t use it on a tablesaw that was big enough to handle it....
+1
I have a 12” adjustable groover that I use in place of a dado stack. Cut quality is much better with the groover then what I get with a dado stack. You don’t have to send the adjustable groover...
I believe this is what Rod is talking about.

Beautiful saw. Very nice work Darcy.
I really like those saws with their shorter stroke slider.
It doesn't feel like it's working very hard.
Mine is a 1980 model, so not really that old. Like Darcy mentioned it has a different blade guard then the one he posted here.
I believe the ones...
I use mine with a 300mm adjustable grooving head. It can easily cut a dado 1-1/2" wide by 3/4" deep in one pass, like cutting through butter. Cross cutting up to 25" wide perfectly square every time....
I have one that style. I just finished going through it a couple of weeks ago. It’s unreal how much firewood it collects.

I added the piece of PVC when I cleaned it out for doweling....
Nice work Darcy.
I hadn’t seen that style of blade guard before either.
They are really a miter saw on steroids and so much more. What year is this one?
I couldn’t agree more.
Very impressive. I’m really enjoying this.
A couple more beautiful machines, great work Darcy.
You’ve been busy.
I’ve never even seen a picture of a Y16 before, nice.
Very nice work.
I like the looks of the three toed jointers.
My favourite miter saw.
