Sorry pics dont seem to be working right now. The chip is about an 1/8" wide and 1/16" deep rounded on a 5/8" arbor hole. It seems like the laser cuts just weren't very clean, though the blade body...

Hey, thanks for the input everybody. I ended up going with a small custom saw maker, blackburn tools (http://blackburntools.com) I think their saws are better looking than any of the commercial saws...
Im in the late stages of choosing a set of saws for my shop. Im switching to a more hand tool based approach and Im going to get a pair of 14" sash/carcase saws (rip and crosscut) and a dovetail saw....
What are your impressions of the winsor saws? Im thinking about buying a dovetail and tenon crosscut saw from then, but Im nervous since they dont have a lot of reviews. Great job on the step stool...
