Your saw was not designed to have a motor that powerful and heavy. If you look at the insides of a cabinet saw, they are much heaver built than a contractors saw.
Between those two, I would go with the Hitachi.

He probably was using it on his radial saw, I've seen rip blades on them before. That blade would be more at home on a table saw though.

The best thing about loose tenons is, I can cut my stock to the finished length. I don't have to do any adding, then subtracting for the tenon length. I really like my Mortise Pal.

If you can't use the one that came with your saw, try the MJ Pro. That's what I use. I would also suggest the Shark, or the b o r k they are a little more money than the MJ but maybe better.
I went with 12 on my Delta 50-760, but I had to run about 30 ft. It will still flicker the lights when I switch it on, and it's on it's own circuit.

I would keep the Excalibur too, no matter which splitter route you take.
That sounds a little high to me too, especally since you plan to change out the fence. If it already had the Biesmeyer on it, then yes.
Might check out Woodcraft, or Rockler. They could have a store near you.
