Ok, I'm trying to get the proper name for 1/4" sheeting (ply or mdf) that has a white finish on 1 or 2 sides. You'll normally see this type of material as shelves in kitchen cabinetry.
What is the...
Well Mike how did the infinity blades work for you?
I did a search on the infinity blades and there's a set for a little under $200 that are supposed to last 10X longer than OEM replacements. I am almost tempted to buy them but can't bring myself to...
I really didn't want the hinges expoised but I pretty much came to the same conclusion as you suggested. oh well.
How come no one has posted their feedback as to what they think about these infinity blades?
I tried looking apparently I haven't a clue what they are talking about when I read what type of hinge I need. Here's a quick drawing of what I'm trying to do. Can someone just tell be what hinge(s)...
Alright I have a door that sits flush with the framework and I need a hinge that will move the door out a 1/2 inch before it starts to swing open. Is there such a hinge? and where can I get one?
That is pretty neat, The hardest thing I see on it is keeping the shelf that the computer sits on level while lowering the bed.
I agree, Rick it's time to fill in that huge empty space on the top of the stand :D
+1 a salad bowl finish isn't going to allow for the constant cutting that the butcher block was intended for. I made an end grain butcher block that I had to "season" with a food grade mineral oil...
Great shop!!! One picture that you forgot to add is the dust collector itself.
Yep that's exactly what I was doing but with masking tape. The sanding is pretty much done it's now to the 0000 steel wool.
Thanks, finishing is the part I loathe the most!!! I have done a...
That must be way over my head.... Care to elaborate?
fortunately I use a sanding block for the flat portions. There are a lot of curves on this piece that a sanding block can't get into. And yes I'm using a folded piece or 320 to get inside and around...
for the last week I have been applying a finish on a full over full bunk bed and in between coats I have been sanding my fingertips raw....
What does everyone do to prevent this???
Right now I...
How does most people store their wood? I notice that many people lean them against the wall as I would think that would allow the wood to get a bow in it.
Wouldn't it be better to store them...
Awesome thank you
Can any one give me the exact measurements of a full size bed?
I'm in the beginning stages of designing a full size but I don't have a mattress and can't find exact measurements.
Thanks
Jimmy
Great find, keep us posted on how well it works
Thanks for the warm welcome....
I noticed your location the other night.... How far west are you? I go as far as sidney quite a bit
There was really no rhyme or reason except that I thought...
Well I guess this is where I come to say hi and let everyone know that I was turned onto this site from another forum (reefcentral). However I am a wood hobbyist and love working with it, I consider...
Got a few flakes last Saturday here in SE wyoming but didn't stick.
