Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone would have a five pointed star...much like the ones on the hollywood walk of fame, just the outline. EPS would be fantastic.
Thanks
Tom
Okay Scott,
I'm at work right now and don't get out until 6pm pst....but when I get home I will do the math in regard to the tiles I have done and the tiles left to do and also get...
Hi Dan,
I am located in San Diego but the customer is in Virginia. I see what you are saying but from my perspective not only have I invested in the tiles but also a lot of time in running...
Hi all,
It's been a while since my last post on the Creek, health issues with the old ticker but now repaired and mending. Anyway way back when I was doing a large job for a customer that...
Hi Kevin,
no I still have problems, this laser is acting really bizarre. I have tried everything I can think of and tried advice from others. I must admit to some improvement after...
yes James, Zelda,
I power clipped the image into the tile grid ( 36 tiles each 12x12) and then ungrouped the grid . I then opened a new page set that at 12x12 and copied...
Thanks peck, most of what you mentioned I have already done, but there are a few things you bring up that I will check as soon as I can get to the laser.
Mike maybe I used the wrong terminology when...
Hi Dave,
yes the page size is the exact same as the graphic. I tiled the graphic in Corel and then ungrouped it moved each single tile 12x12 ( 36 in all ) to a new Corel page sized at...
Hi All,
I had this problem about a month back and still can not seem to resolve it. I thought I would have one last dig at it. So this time I have included a photo to show exactly what I was...
Take a look at the post I have on "Sign Design and Fabracation" for an Idea of what I'm talking about. I have a post there showing a mural I did and I have it hung up on a wall with plywood backing...
I guess if you use a big enough screw to hang it on there should be no problems. The other alternative is to cut out a square from say 1/4 plywood and use liquid nails to adhear the tile to that...
I think the very simplest way is to make a trip to "Michaels craft store " assuming there is one where you live and pick up a plate holder, they come in various sizes. I have used them for ceramic...
Hi Stephen,
I just had a look at your home page, where do you get the slate maps of Ireland? I think they look great. Is that something you do , I mean do you buy the slate and then...
Hi Stephen ,
Looks great, although ( and this is a personal choice ) I would still use the imported black marble for portrait images. Some people can be very fussy about what shows...
I can send anyone the file if you would like to look at it.
Thanks
Tom
Hi Everyone,
Well I've tried just about everything I can think off and still can't get this job to come out right. I'm beginning to think it's either a corrupt file or the...
I would agree with Mike, but I would also add that you really don't need to worry about a font folder being full. Fonts will not really take up that much space on your hard drive. they're really...
Thanks everyone,
You have all be so very kind and helpful, I believe the setting the table size in Corel to match my lazer will do the trick. I'm at work right now but can't...
Hi Michael,
Yes that's what I did do, but my print driver seems to want to send them all at once even with one tile ( square) selected. I'm very familiar with the powerclip tool and...
Hi dave,
thanks for the reply , if I understand you correctly that's what I did. I took each square out of the larger file ( each one being 12" and ungrouped ) and opened a seperate page...
Hi all,
I have a big problem and need help from someone who uses a GCC Explorer laser or similar print driver. MY problem is this, I have a very large mural to complete, the size is 6ft X 6ft ( 36...
Hi Marty ,
I should also add that I place my transfer face up and put the tile face down onto that. Others may do it the other way around but this way works for me.
Good Luck
Tom
Hi Martin,
I use the file as is, I just open it up in photoshop elements and bump up the contrast a little, size it to fit across my mural and then work in Corel to set the mural...
I think I will do that Jack , I was on the verge of buying it and just wanted to make sure it would work with the color profile first.
Thanks
