Bill, I've not had your experience.
But, I decided quite a while back to cancel many of my subscriptions, including Wood (3 years ago) and a couple of Train related magazines (1 year ago). I've...
No personal data, but a friend's brother here in Illinois has a geothermal unit, in new construction. Cost in the range you mention. He's single, so not a lot of other loads. His electric bills this...
I've had good luck with these from Grizzley. Price isn't a major difference from Woodcraft, but it is another source.

Brian, as I recall there was a misprint in the original article of the bushing size for the router to make the spirograph arcs. We had to redo my door, as I was the first one to try it. I don't know...
Here's mine, as posted in an earlier thread. (scroll to the bottom of the thread)

But, I cheated. I took the class from Glen at American...
I'll second the 150-3. I love mine. Easy on the hands, minimal dust used with a vacuum. I've also used the Rotex dual mode units. They work well, but are much heavier and more tiring in my opinion.

Here's a thread I replied to that has a couple of pictures of my method... Scroll down a ways to my reply.

Keith, I have a friend that runs a good woodworking school that I go to more often than I probably should :D (if you know what I mean). He has a interest in a manufacturers forum here. I've sent a...
That'd be great. I'd like to meet you.

Mac, I wish I could have been there. We had the grandkids this last weekend or I would have been. I will be there next week for the Greene & Greene table classs with Dale though.

Personally, I'd use 10ga wire, even if you go with a 20A breaker for the current tool. Then, if you ever want to go bigger, just change the breaker, and possibly the socket/plug. I did this...
Bruce, that is shameless, as well as disgusting (I wanted to win that one too!). Nice picks, speaking as a flatlander who knows almost nothing about spinney things.

Mark here's what I did. It may not work for you as it does need wall space, but maybe you can adapt the idea...
Just 2x4's lagged to the wall, with 1" hardwood dowels for supports. I've got 50 or...
I'm 6'5", with normal proportions (I guess, kids don't laugh and point...). I found that 39" was about right for me. I set the tablesaw to that height, and the workbench. It's served me well, for...
I was right, I saw it tonite, and it's even better in person...

I'll bet I see that one tonite, Bruce.

As a daily rate, that might be cheap. My wife had a severely detached retina last fall. She wound up having the "open up the eyeball" surgery to fix it. It was outpatient. We entered the door at...
Eirc, I'll just add a few comments based on what I did.
First, I have a couple of 110 circuits for utility outlets. All other 'outlets for tools' are one outlet, one breaker, whether 110 or 220....
Brian, I'm just finishing up a new miter saw station for my shop. It's built on some base cabinets I already had. I built up the work surface on each side of the saw so the work surface is level with...
I'm in via Paypal.

Jerry, I have the Powermatic 15S and like it a lot. It does a beautiful job on curly maple, almost zero tearout. I haven't been through the first knife set yet, so I have no data on knife longevity....
