Do you use a set screw to hold the tool rest in the banjo? What size?
Needed a card holder to put in my wifes Antiques and Collectible store. Started by turning a cup shape shown in the first attachment then cut away material on the bandsaw and using sanders until I...
Please enter my name in the drawing.

I have attached a couple more pictures. Basically, I made a mount for the router then made a Delrin Sleave to fit over a bolt. The sleave and bolt fit in the tool post hole.

Turn to sharpen, turn to turn.
Do the chuck MT's from PSI and CDC actually fit the 46-460? I have one from HF and the tang is too long and I have not cut it off yet. (See first attachment)
LMS stock short MT's that fit much...
This base was selling at $39 plus shipping. It would be best to look around at AAW instead of a link (TOS).

Did this mod the end of December following instructions available on the net. Wanted to use it awhile before drawing any conclusions. So far I would say the 1" tool post "Just feels right".

I got this idea from someone at the Virginia Symposium about three years ago but cannot remember his name. He suggested rubber/vinyl(?) hose from the big box store.
Carefully slit the hose...
Like it alot. I put the original motor in a box on the shelf thinking I could put it back in if the DC did not work out. It is still in the box five years later. I really like the slow speed for...

Checked it out. It is a better deal at Rockler. CUSA would be a $19 and change discount but shipping would be $19 something. Net result Rockler is $129.99 shipped and CUSA is $130 and change.
Bed extensions are $129.99 with free shipping thru 1/3/10 at Rockler.com. That is $20 less than other local sources for me.

One option would be to attach the router via a pin and fix the work with an index type arrangement.
Something like this:

104861

A lot of bicycle parts? Sprockets? Chains? That would be Bill Hylton's book Router Magic. Here is my version of the Router Lathe:
