Yup, not a real injury. Not to say that a drill press can't tear you up, but the vid is just of a training exercise.
Well I think I only keep about 1k-2k screws on hand... But I got the new Milwaukee organizer the other day and am really happy with it. I have about 1200 screws in it now and it's not full. You can...
I recently priced DIY spray foam kits to do 1000 sqft of wall..... spent a while searching online and what not. It cost me $450 to have someone come in and do the walls with fiberglass batts and...
Thinkin I must've gotten a really "fresh" batch. I transported it in my truck for the 20 mins it took to get home from Lowes and my truck interior even smelled foul for a few days. I'm just gonna let...
depending on the eraser you tried, you may be able to find a very soft eraser, they're usually better at getting into small crevices and depressions so that may work better.... Not sure exactly what...
Just curious... are you noticing a significant "off-gassing", for lack of a better term, from that OSB? I'm doing the inside of my shop right now also and it's so bad I literally can't be in there...
Just get the 20v Dewalt set for about $200... or have batteries rebuilt. DON'T do Ryobi.
Yeah, longevity may end up being the only downside to these LED's. Of course only time will tell... I don't have time to buy one and test it for any length of time. While buying enough for the whole...
I like the LED light color. Some of the fluorescent 'daylight' lights are similar, but some of those have more of a blue hue which I don't care for.
yeah, personally if I was going to spend more than about $800 then I'd drop the extra $400 for the Powermatic, that thing looks really nice
I own that 20" Grizzly... I haven't measured the run out with a dial indicator but it's very small. I've used everything from 2" Forstners down to about 3/16" twist bits and it handles them all just...
Nice looking table....
But I really like that shower curtain to make a dust barrier to separate the lathes from everything else... good idea.
Several people on here will be quick to tell you that these lights are horrible and aren't worth the cost of the box they come in.... but I'm pretty sure most of them don't have any personal...
Dominoes will probably end up having more long-long grain glue surface.... at least it looks like they would. And it'd be WAY easier to do and that's gotta count for something.
Good luck with the ceiling... I've been putting up 7/16 OSB on my 10 ft ceiling these last few days. Kinda slow going by myself but not horrible.
I got 10 of the same lights to put in my shop. Let me know how you end up attaching them to the ceiling. 2 of mine came with 2x 1ft pcs of chain to hang them with but the others came with a cheap...
Go to lumberjocks dot com and browse the shop tours section.... of course lots of things can't be shown in pictures but it sure is a quick way to see some larger layout ideas
To answer part of the original question....
I have the older version of the Jet you linked to... In my opinion, it's not worth $1400, maybe $800ish. The difference in price is going to be a...
Or you could just use longer screws and use the same 2 screws to attaches the jaw and attach the vise to the bench.
Yeah, I guess it depends on the particular kids you have around.... for mine, just giving them "the talk" about not ever touching the tools unless I'm there has worked. So I'm completely comfortable...
I don't even read magazine or similar reviews anymore. I have pretty good luck just using consumer reviews. Amazon reviews are helpful for indicating a design flaw - like if several reviewers mention...
Put a lock on the breaker box and shut off all the power to the tools and lock it when not in use? They make a thing where you can just turn a key and turn the power off and on so that may be easier....
For the life of me I can't remember where I read this but I saw a somewhat simple calculation at some point that I remember... sqft that needs to be heated X 60 (for cold climate, or in your case...
Ok cool.... thanks
