I did something very similar but also included an AC relay from radio shack to kill to birds with one stone so to speak.

Jeff I can't comment on the Jet unit since I made my own from a squirrel cage out of a discarded hvac system. I ganged 4 air filters on the input side, total cost was less than $10.
But...
When I said CV (central vac) I meant a dust collection system, I always use the terms interchangeably.
No matter how good your CV/DC system is a small amount of dust will still get into the air. ...
I do have a CV system but dust still gets in the air!

Well I finally recieved my parts from the Surplus Center to build my vac chuck. I also spoke with Tom Steyer and ordered the vac adapter for my 3520B which he said I should get by the end of next...

I called Beall but they couldn't tell me the thread count on their 3" bowl buffs, also how long is the bolt? I was told they're 3/8" but nothing else.
