Its the DM442 which matches the X & Y that came in my Rabbit.
Always loved Mustangs and street rods. I had a '03 Mach 1 for 13 years with 21K miles., sold it. Also had a '34 Ford 3 window coupe. Sold it.
Playing with a Polaris General 1000 for the last 4...
Here is the RDC6445G U-axis connected to the added driver.

Well I finally have the rotary working using the U axis instead of connecting and disconnecting the Y axis cable and dealing with changing the parameters back and forth.
I started this a year ago...
Yea, oddly shaped and thrown on the bed crooked. Dont matter. camera takes a pic and you place the text/logo to fit the piece and go.
I may have to buy a Ruida RDC6445G. Looks like Aliexpress is going to have one for $250 and go with Lightburn.
I stumbled on a youtube video last night that showed a guy that added a camera to the lid of the laser and Lightburn using it. Once he calibrated it he could throw something on the bed and you just...
I second the Rabbit. Mine is 7 years old 80 watt 9060. Still have original tube. Rabbit Laser USA
Really?

Ray said to send power supply back for testing.
So 3 new mirrors, and a new tube, still low on power. Now that I have a amp meter to watch as I was slowly increasing the power from 50 and finally I did 100 the meter actually dropped back down to...
Was reading that Lightburn will never happen with a Leetro controller on their forum. Worth upgrading to a Ruida controller, probably not.
Would love to have software that is getting updates and...
Just got over worrying about my chiller, the new temp controller is working. Now the part I dread, the programing it.
My mA meter is due any minute, so I will install it today and I got my mirrors.
I lot of people use a percentage for power settings. Lasercut is gauged by power. How should I adjust? I guess Lasercut 100 power would be 100%?
My mirrors came today. My T-503 is coming...
I did not know that. Well once I get it back together I believe the amp meter is something that should come stock on these lasers.
Hi Bert,
Yea, I have been doing a lot of checking of the machine and determined I need a new tube. Anyway I have 3 new mirrors, a 80w GSI tube, a panel amp meter on their way and of all things...
Let me ask this. Is there supposed to be any difference in the power output from engraving and cutting? Seems I have plenty of cut power, but engraving is pitiful.
Tried to engrave a stainless tumbler and it let me know something is wrong. I dont use this laser very much. Had Raymond install it back in 2013.
Anyway the mirrors are shot. Would show you a pic...
Yesterday evening I was burning 3/8" holes as a test and I did get good results with the grey side on bottom, painters tape on top and running the feed rate high and burning each hole 4 times to cut...
Cermark at the Charlotte NBM show? Didn't know they had a booth.
Anyway here is a video from LaserUniversity showing them using the liquid, not aerosol.

Lee,
Im in for the night now so tomorrow I will try taping the clear side with the painters tape and then turn it over and burn thru with the grey side up. I am cutting out letters for a friends...
Im burning thru. Mirror side up or mirror side down, what?
Trying some mirrored acrylic for the first time this morning and seems I am getting best results from leaving the plastic protection on...
I dont think it is a specific vinyl. I use Siser Easyweed and like Stahls it is polyurethane. Funny thing when I walked up to the ULS booth the guy was in the process of trying a different brand of...
You guys may already know this, but I was at the ISS show in Nashville yesterday and I was shown a little t-shirt with a design on it and they said it was done on a laser, no weeding.
I finally...
Last week when I went to turn on my Rabbit 80W it blew the 5A fuse where the 120V comes in. It is a 5x20mm, should I use a fast blowing fuse like what was in it or is it ok to use a slow blow?
I...
