Greetings,
I have a buddy who has a PowerSonic dust collector that is a dual voltage (110/220). It is currently hooked up to run on 110.
There is NO paperwork at all but a nonsense schematic...
They seem to only have a distributor who also have techs. It's called Synergy Products.
I thought I could send my laser tube to epilog but now it seems I have to go though a middleman markup. Odd....
Well, the fans are ramping up as jobs are being done, yes.

Laser meters are... more expensive than I thought they would be. The tech in our area (who has a meter) wont be able to come until the 20th.
Thanks for checking but yes, I clean them regularly (when needed) and there is almost no issues with the optics (a few very minor scratches on one mirror but it's been that way since I received it).
Greetings!
I have a 50Watt EXT that is suddenly having issues. I was doing a pretty heavy job of 1/8 plastic cuts. About half way through, the laser only has about half the power it once did. It's...
Sure thing; however, Epilog will send you the procedures for your specific machine in a heartbeat. I also heard the early Legend machines (4" exhaust) have a different procedure.
I was able to catch Jim at Epilog who quickly sent me the updated and correct alignment procedure and assured me that position 2 is actually front right (bottom right as shown in the first picture)....
I have read several contradicting articles on how to do this procedure. Even my service manual (not the user manual) shows a conflicting procedure.
Here is what my service manual says (as it seems...
Brian J for the majority and Brian D for when Brian J was insistent that his backwards picture was correct. In a minute, Ian, but likely in the future, no one.
They are taking ZERO responsibility and still think they were right. I'm not going to get any "free" replacement parts from them. It's sad. It's a finicky machine but it works... just a few changes...
Thank you so much! It's the opposite of the photos that Epilog sent me causing a full day's downtime (plus a weekend) and they were certain they were correct *shakes head in a disappointed fashion*...
I sure could use a photo. Thank you, Martin!
Anyone at all? Please?
If you take the left cover off the machine, you can pretty much see which way the card is positioned. Please see the photos and quick questions below.
This is on the...
Surprisingly, nothing I can find.
Greetings,
Can someone tell me which way the amplifier boards go on an Epilog EXT machine? I took them out and stumbled a bit to have them gently land in all sorts of directions.
Time is a major...
Greetings! Long time no see!
Say, I am etching a bunch of those typical tapered bar glasses (generally filled with beer). I am looking for a good way to engrave it. I have a 50W Epilog Legend with...
Not to make any assumptions that all machines are the same (because they are not), but my epilog has an encoder strip which sits on the x-axis. When the head moves along the x-axis, there is a reader...
I have had this problem. Try the opposite corner and see if and how it fails.
Next, try 2 x 1" squares, on in the back left and one in the back right corner, filled, and run a combo raster vector...
Well that's a new one on me (not that that means much). Is this a consistent thing that vectors are offset from rasters, or only when you do both in the same job? In other words, if you send a...
I do not wish to cut along the 0 axis. It was a test the epilog techs had me do. The problem was the vector did not match the raster along the x axis. If I engrave a 1 x 1 anywhere and then vector is...
It would be great if you can check but the cut along the side was the result of another failed test that Epilog techs had me perform. I do not cut along the rulers usually. They tell me this is a...
If that was the case, wouldn't I just be cutting into the rulers on the top and left rather than no cuts at all on those lines?
Tech support was the first place I turned. The had me run some tests...
I like the way you think but Epilog is convinced there is either a major setup issue or a major hardware issue.
Greetings to all!
I have an Epilog EXT using Corel X4.
I have an issue where if I draw a 2x2 square and put the center of that square at x:1, y:1, the engraver only cuts the right and bottom...
