Makita 18v 61/2 is light.Good power to weight ratio,has a purlin hook too.
If you're right handed and plan to use a speed square as a cutting guide,which is a good idea because of the blade...

You really have to consider what your use will be.
I use an 18v 61/2" Makita extensively for 2x framing work and general construction.
Limitations are that it only cuts just over 2".It's brushless...

Watch the level of suction,it can lead to excessive sanding marks.
Less so with abranet.
Festool has adjustment for suction level,not sure about the others.

The issue with the tyres threw me out as the manual said to always track the teeth off the front edge,other info said euro saws always have level tyres.

Both the festool ETS EC and mirka have a lower profile which should help with any tendency to roll,and are nicer to use than the taller types.The festool at least has pads of different hardness,not...

You'd need a sled to secure and control them.
And amongst other things...
Infeed and outfeed support.

A suitable blade.
A powerful enough motor.

Think if I set the saw up so that both wheels are plumb then set a laser line at 90 degrees to that plane then measure back to the wheels at the horizontal mid line
the laser will hit...
