Wow Dee, I'm flattered! I've admired (mostly in silence) your stuff for a long time. I wish I had your talent. Heck, as long as I'm wishing, I wish you needed a new laser! :)
The "crew" here at...
Yes there is, and the price dropped! :)
Fantastic! Hurry back from vacation Aaron! :)
Thank you Keith!
Please excuse my ignorance, but why does the ULS need batteries? what do they power?
Keith, can you elaborate on that comment? I don't see anything about it on the web site. Is this one of those top secret, extra special doo-hickeys I hear about? :) Did you get one?
For the sake of understanding Bryan, "Raster" and "Cut" are really two different things..
Raster is typically the engraving, and Vector is for cutting.
Now with that said, and at the risk of...
To build off what Dan said, open your image in Corel paint. Click on "Image" at the top, and go down to Convert to grayscale. That will produce a B&W image. If you want to use it in CorelDraw, copy...
Me three. I need my SMC!
Were there any polishers left over from the last group buy? I may have a job coming up that will require it.
thx
That is a really cool idea!
Thank you All.
Oh I was afraid that question would be asked, and I tried to avoid posting it for competitive reasons. Promotions
Great idea, and please count me in. I really like the icon idea too.
Keith, my 'puter skills are limited, but if I can help the effort in some way, I'm "raising my hand"
Santa brought me a pair of the Pelitor's for Christmas. They work great...when my lights are off. My Lowes lights really mess them up.
You might want to watch "Lockup" or "Cops" to find out how they do it in prison. I doubt they use a laser or die cutters! :)
"No Sweetie, I'm not a couch potato, I'm doing research!"
I have a wholesale customer who just went through a change of ownership and as a result, they are having a grand opening event. They have a showroom with a decent amount of traffic, plus they do...
I thought I had been downgraded too. That's what made me take notice. It was only operator error, but at least it made me think of it. I sure want to keep this great site going!!
I just happened to notice that my contributor status was in jeapordy but I got it in. Usually I am way late with things, but this time I'm five days early. I guess I have my priorities straight!

that sounds like a nice problem to have Tim. In this market, I'd have to agree with those who esentially said "do whatever it takes and have a back up in case of a problem". I know that when I get...
I'm sorry I watched that video - It reinforced my PRS envy :(
Well done!
Learn something new every day. Actually, I need to learn a lot everyday just to keep up with you all.
Any way, the smart fill technique is a handy one to know!
For anyone interested, I just found this one.

I'll give that a try John. Thanks.
I just can't seem to find a review anywhere.
I'm trying to decide between the Earlex 5000 and the Earlex 6900, but I'm not able to find many comments/reviews for the 6900. There are plenty on the 5000 that allow me to see this is a solid unit....
Took the words out of my mouth.
James and Zelma, Perhaps you could work with someone from SMC for your signs. I'd be glad to help you if you'd like.
