Scott, re the dirty areas. I have found with many light coloured woods that when I move to 320/400 grit paper that the wood grain can get filled with a dark colour. Have not found a solution to this...

Hi Ken, the two outside drawers use blind dovetails, the rasp drawer has through dovetails with a false front, and the internal drawers are connected via sliding dovetails.
