When we first met, my wife and I shared a pottery class in college.

We have an electric kiln & wheel -- but haven't thrown anything for the last years. We plan, in the next year, to kick this up...

    WoodturningCrafts.com ??

I have 2 domain names with which I've done nothing.

So, I'd be willing to either (a) take some ideas and build a site, for whatever common good it'd be for; or (b) transfer them over to someone...

Display case / table - plans?

    Looking for plans
Something like a display case on something like a sofa table.

I have about 13 width by some length, so I assume a sofa table would be about right.

    Hmmmm

I've only used this jacobs chuck in my tailstock.

    Different MT2s ? (and Jet/Delta lathes)

I got another, small Jet-like lathe (Delta LA200) and noticed that my jacobs chuck ... won't' fit !?!

I guess it would fit, if it would insert all the way. You see, the arbor has a little tang...

    fixed or compression mandrel

I had a mandrel that was fixed length.
You have to add bushings if you were turning only a 1/2 a pen blank, etc.

I've since bought the compression type -- where the morse-taper end of my mandrel...

The wife got me a B&N gift card for fathers day.

I know book choice is a personal one ... but it'd be neat to hear what you all would do. I've got some good wood working/turning books (and the...
