Good luck!!:D
Travis, that HF is a beauty!
Curt, this is an excellent hollow form.
Pretty wood too.
Mark, your hollow form is gorgeous!!
Turn one from "hard" wood, aluminum, or brass.
Lots of info here...

Fine looking NE bowl, Glenn !!
Beautiful wood too, where do you find it?
Router speed controllers are for "universal" motors (Universal motors have brushes). Most, if not all, grinders use an “induction” motor, and the router speed controllers will not work on them.
Nice bowls and cool writing/decorating!
Fine platter, Curt.
Hi Glenn, that bowl is a real beauty!!
I like the rim and the curves a lot, and the color is exceptional.
Hi Laurie,
Those miniatures sure do look beautifully turned!!
Hi Jim,
That is a very well turned, finished, and nicely designed three part lidded box.
I like Brazil nuts, and know they come with hard shells, but I had no idea that they also come in multi-nut...

Thanks,
Gil
Cool way to make tops!:D

Nothing missing, just a big crack that opened up overnight.
I like it!! Beautiful wood, and fine curves.
Ernie,
Sycamore is a fine turning wood (at least 'green', don't know about dry). Check out this piece I have posted on WR >>

Hey Dave,
It is a great handout that we used at a club demo in late 2004 (North Florida Woodturners). Supposedly from Todd Hoyer, but I cannot substantiate that.
Thanks for the fast replys!! It seems that these tools are not for finish work.
Thanks Lars!!
This is a fine idea, and each piece could be finished up with a skew. I looked for Adams Wood Products, but there must be a 100 of them with the same name. Anyway, his home is one of...
I am helping a friend (who has very little lathe experience) turn 40+ vertical spindles to replace rotten ones on his antique home porch rail. He has a 12" Sears wood lathe, and purchased a Sears...
It is definitely a beauty!
Hi Jim,
Yup, I am an AAW member, what is a WAA.
Have fun with the chunks, looks like enough to keep you busy for a while.
