I use mine regularly. Yes I could make something that serves the same purpose, but want to use my shop time for other things. I have a set from Rockler paid about $10 on sale. I also have a set by...
Are you thinking picture frame like or more like an all glass display case? You might want to stop by a sports memorabilia shop in your area. You could also try a Google search for some ideas.
I looked at them and it looked to me like the Ridgid. I bought the Delta that Lowes sold a few years ago. While after a tune up it worked OK, I am looking to upgrade and wish I would have saved up...
Did you try a Google search? There appeared to be some sources there.
I'm with Rick on this one. You need to remove the old treads and then replace them. Before you start work, hit the library for some books of at least a Google search for some articles. Good luck.
I hit the show at the fairgrounds and then on to Woodwerks and Woodcraft. As has been mentioned, I go for the entertainment value. And will probably continue to do so, no matter how few vendors show...
I have the Shop Fox and have no complaints. It has fit my needs fine. If I were buying a bench top again, it would be high on my list.
Your might also want to check out a few local pawn shops.
I have had some good luck with Fastenal. I also like the Spax screws if I can buy them local. And, the local Ace has a good selection as well.
Mine sits on on old printer stand from the office. Will's is very nice and I may copy some of the features.
I owned one cheap nail gun and it was worth less than what I paid for it. I prefer Pasload and Impulse framing nailers. I think you can rent them. Pawn shops would be a good place to look as well.

John,
Call your insurance company and report this. Move on, what is done is done. If he sues you, he really wasn't a friend was he?
If you want or need legal advice, talk to a lawyer.
OK so I don't unplug the drill press. But otherwise it is cheap insurance.
I have used my Shop Fox for about 4 years and have no complaints. For my work, I have not considered the need for a floor model. I do not find the noise significantly louder than any other brand...
I am not following how having a 1/16 chipper with a dado set will help. The OP is looking to cut a groove smaller than the just using the outside cutters will allow.
+1 for McFeely's.
Didn't Fine Woodworking put together a shop for $5000 recently?
I think this is one of those questions that the correct answer would go "Depends . . ."
I am in the camp that really likes the Incra miter gauge, but it does need some add ons. Lee Valley sells knobs that press on the allen heads so you don't need the allen wrench...
When I installed my windows I ran 5/4 X 4 board around the window nailing to the jack studs, header, sill and studs. Depending on where a stud was in relation to the end of the siding I used...
As with all tools, buy the best YOU can afford. I purchased one of the 25 or 29 piece sets from an on line router bit company that were on sale from 44.95 to 29.95. Several are not usable and...
I am not sure which Bosch, but in the long run the $30 will no doubt be well spent. I am at the point where I will not buy consumer grade tools anymore.
Robert:
I am an attorney that works for an insurance company. You should review what you want to do with your attorney and your insurance agent. You have some specific issues that need to be...
I agree with Mr. Warner and suggest the DW621 for an all around router.
