    Cermark on Glass

    Happy New Year everyone!

I am trying to use Cermark LMM-12 on glass to get a black engraving. According to the tech tips on Laserbits I should be using 100% power and 70% of the machines rating for speed. For my 25 watt that would be 17.5. Using these settings at 300 dpi I get a nice frosted result similar to the windex method. I was expecting black however. Do any of you have experience with this product and what settings I might need to be using? Should I expect to get a black colored engraving?

    Thanks,
    Bob Wilson

I am using LMC-6044 for a black mark on glass. I tried the settings recomended by thermark and they did not work well with my machine. I created a graph using black squares in corel. For each row I used one power setting but for each column I used a different speed setting. I ended up with 30% power and 20% speed on my 30W Versa Laser.
