my honey bought me one of these for Christmas after all attempts to align the craftsman failed. Right out of the box, the alignment is almost perfect. Vertical is .001 off and angles about the same. The saw comes with a 40 tooth blade, so will be upgrading. It doesn't include the extensions that many MS's do, but with long pieces of wood, additional support will be needed anyway. Dust collection with external dust collector is good, but not great. All in all, a very decent investment.

You'll like it if a simple 10" no bells and whistles (like a laser) single compound non-slider is what you prefer.
I'm real happy with mine.
I just wish I'd have gotten it instead of the Craftsman that broke apart in my hands.
