Getting back into woodworking. This was the toughest project yet, it could be better but I am still learning. My wife loves it, so I am in good shape.

Nice table indeed. Sometimes we only have to satisfy that one customer.
So is this cherry and birch ply? How did you do the legs?

Legs and aprons are cherry with birch wrapped around birch plywood for top. I intended to do the top with solid birch but had some issues with twisted and cupped boards. I tried to get it to work, but without a jointer or planer I gave up and went with plywood. I cut the top of legs at 60 degrees to get the point and then tapered the legs down to 3/4" at the bottom then rounded all edges with 3/8" roundover.
Ok Luke,
Thanks for answering my questions.

Nice job, Luke, and welcome. And, I am sure you have learned that without pleasing the "lady", new tool purchases are difficult! So, never forget, she is your most important critic.
Welcome to the Creek Luke!

Great job on the Hall Table.
Great job, what kind of finish did you use?

Very nice Luke....
Sarge..
Welcome Luke! Nice way to introduce yourself! I like the contrast on the top.
Some of the cave dwellers over on the neander side of the creek might be able to help you with a "cordless" jointer/planer! Being new to wordworking, I only recently discovered that hand planes and scrapers work much better when sharpened. Darn near planed my board into nothingness once I started getting real shavings. Mesmerizing.
Looking forward to more posts.
Luke, good for you. The table looks great. Keep challenging yourself, you're obviously talented. Nice details.
Luke, welcome to SMC. Nice table, I like the leg & apron detail.

Nice table Luke. Now I know they just let anyone in here! LOL
Very nice! Perfectly balanced.

Deep thought for the day:
Your bandsaw weighs more when you leave the spring compressed instead of relieving the tension.
Impressive Luke.
