    Toy Truck

Here is a toy monster truck I made for my nephew. The plans are adapted from Les Neufeld's, Tremendous Toy Trucks. It is made out of six kinds of hardwood.

Schweet! That looks like a lot of tricky work.

Wow...what a great toy truck! That looks like it will roll over anything, too! I bet your nephew was/will be thrilled...

Excellent job, Sue. Especially on the front and rear fenders and the wheels for sure.

Cool Truck. I really like the wheels. What kind of jig on what machine made the grooves?

Great toy! Now you need to make some smaller late model Chevys that it can run over Seriously, I'm sure you're nephew will love it.

You obviously have more patients than I do. Very nice work.

What, no giant flag in the bed?

Very spiffy work. Thanks for sharing.

    Dave,
I created the grooves using my miter gauge on the table saw. The angle it, create the groove and turn the wheel to make the next groove. Then glue two together to make one wheel.

    Dewey,
I did not keep track of the time. I also started it quite a while ago and then put it away for months. Once I started working on it again, it went pretty fast.
