    Grizzly G0500 Jointer?

What's the story on Grizzly G0500 Jointers?
I know they've been replaced by the G0586. Can you still get parts for the G0500? Any reason not to get a used one if it can be had for, say, half of a G0586?

You can still get parts. I have had one for the last 3-4 years and has done great for me. I would have no problem buying it used. sounds like a good price.

I'm happy with mine. Not sure what 1/2 the price of a new one is, but I picked mine up 2nd hand for $300 as a reference. Had a few tiny rust pits on the table, but cleaned up easy. Runs like a champ.

Thanks for the feedback. A new one is $695. Just last month they were on sale for $595. So I figure $300 - $350 is about right.
