All you DW717 owners out there!

I've been looking at SCMS lately and haven't been able to find much for reviews of the DW717. It looks to be a pretty solid saw with the exception of the small sliding rods and the capacity blows the rest of the 10" saws out of the water. Just wondering who out there has one and what your views on it are!

I have had one since the beginning of September and I have found no real flaws to speak of. Take the crosscut capacity with a grain of salt though as to acheive the full capacity you have to remove the main fence. That being said a 12" crosscut without removing the main fence is nothing to sneeze at either. Dust collection is fair at the very least, but that is pretty typical of all sliders from what I have heard/read. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

Take a look at the DW712. 8 1/2" blade and cuts to 11 3/4.

I have had one for over a year now and really like it.
