    Cool wow, found an interesting site

    i wound an interesting wood site. its a lumberyard but they specialize in old growth and figured peices, they just got in some hure logs and a huge burl (understatment!) take a look at the home page and the wood porn page

    wow that is big stuff. The wood porn page is amazing. I can't imagine how much some of those pieces would go for once they are made into table tops and such. Simply stunning.

    The grass is always greener on the other side. I wish I could have some of the wood that grows in California. I am currently working on trading some of my local wood for large manzanita. I like home town exotics. I am sure if you looked you could find interesting or very interesting stock locally. Tree removal companies shred a lot of good stuff. I was a bit to late and they shredded a nice mesquite tree. But the walnut tree they said they will be cutting down in a few months I will be sure to get.

    These are the folks I nearly went to for some awesome QS cherry awhile back, but ended up not making the trip for a number of now-unimportant reasons. They do have outstanding material!
