That is very nice Stan, and after having done a flute out of that same wood, I'm even more impressed. That is not one of the most "turning friendly" woods I've met.

Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side and it binds the universe together.
I really like that one. The change in direction at the tips really adds a touch of class.

Beautiful piece and beautiful wood. And a question. Am seeing some parallel lines across the piece, parallel to the upper right edge. Can anyone else see them, and what are they? Maybe some photographic weirdness?
