    Retirement gloat

At midnight tonight I will be officially retired from my job of 30 years. I am looking forward to spending much more time in the shop.

Congrats! Retirement is fun. I got bored so I got a fun part time job. Use to give me extra spending money, now with the stock market like it is it is a necessity!

You will enjoy it, but retirement is expensive!

Congratulations on the retirement. After 32 years, I got one of those offers you shouldn't refuse back in '05. Turned (no pun intended) out to be a great thing, you are going to like your new freedom, enjoy!

You know what they say about retirement: Too much time and too little money. Well a lathe and shop will easily fill that extra time while making sure you have even less money. I speak from experience, but I'm loving every minute of it. Congrats!

    Terry -

Congratulations!!! Two years and one month (as of midnight) of retired life for me. Occasionally I catch myself thinking about getting a part time job, but then I catch myself.

    Welcome to the club !!!
