    Deacon # 2

    Here is the second Deacons bench I've made. This one was a commission job and will get delivered tomorrow. A lady from church saw the one I made for the church and asked if I could make her one that was slightly shorter in the back than the original. This one is made from red oak, stained golden oak and finished with Cabot Clear semi gloss brushable lacquer. Making the second one was easier than making the first as I had already figured out how to make the various pieces.

    Lee, I really like those pieces. Nice job , good tight fit on the joinery. That's also a very attractive finish. Happy Woodworking, Craig
