Is there any way to search members by location? I looked in FAQ and tried searching by entering state under member list. Am I missing something?

No, there isn't a way to do that...and this is a common question. The demographic information taken during registration is protected due to privacy concerns and the locations that folks choose to enter (or not enter) are often not exact enough to be useful. If you are wanting to get together with folks in your own area, it would be easiest to just put a thread in the OT Forum looking for local woodworkers to visit with.

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...

Not perfect but a workaround of sorts
Use the fence Luke
Thanks for the answer. I saw that in most posts you could see the location of the person who posted. I just thought it would be interesting to see who is in my area. But I certainly understand privacy issues. I will try the search suggested or just keep my eye open as I read posts
The location information at the top of a person's post is only there if they supplied it. You'll also note that many folks are a bit "fuzzy" in their descriptions of where they are, too.

I saw one poster put "Earth" as his location!
