    Time to introduce myself.

I just wanted to introduce myself since I have gotten so much from this board in just a few days. I teach Pre-Engineering at a local high school, and we use our laser engraver for prototyping our design projects. I can't tell you how much fun the students have burning out their designs. I look forward to being part of this board, and hopefully be able to contribute. Nice to meet all of you!

Hey Emmett, welcome! I have a V460, too. I'd like to see some pictures of the things you're making. What materials are you using?

Thanks, It is amazing some of the stuff the kids think of. We will be building a lot of bridges and structures next year. One of my co-workers uses the laser to build all sorts of things. We use 1/8 mdf mostly, but also acrylic. When I get pictures, I will try to post them.

Welcome Emmett. I also am new to the engraving business as well as to the forum. I have found a lot of willing individuals to help out here in any way they can. This is a great place to be a part of. Again, welcome to the Creek.

Why is it that everytime I see this post and see his name I think of Wyatt Earp. Do you think it's dyslexia?
