I'd like to publically thank a fellow woodworker on this site for an extraordinary assist with getting my new (to me) Sawstop set up.
I won't use his name because he responded via PM -- but long and short of it is that he lives in same state and (1) saw my post about electrical questions (2) had personal expertise in the area and (3) was deathly afraid I was going to hurt myself or burn down the house!!.... so he volunteered his services.
He spent a couple of hours with me setting up the new electrical service and the saw started (with diagnostics I might add) and hummed like a bird! I was like a kid in a candy store!!
The most amazing (to me) part of this is that I had never met him before and to the best of my knowledge had never even had a post where we exchanged ideas /views, etc....
I am very grateful to him and continue to be thrilled by the knowledge, willingness to share and just plain "community" of this forum. This is just an extreme version of it!
Thanks to all.. but especially to "Mr X"
