I have done a lot of work with raised panels in the past, but this is one of the more complex projects. I had looked for plans, but never really found anything that was quite just right, so I finally had to draft my own. I also gained a lot of experience with new joints (compound miter on the case and splined miters on the skirt board), plus I had to create my own templates for the curved pieces. Now that I have the jigs and templates created, should be able to fabricate the next two a lot quicker (Wife says my two sons now need one). All in all it was a fun project!
