Very Nice! Are the drawers round on the front? It looks like they are from the second pic.

If at first you don't succeed, look in the trash for the instructions.

Nice! That Cocobolo top is just amazing. Very pleasing proportions and great execution. Forgive my ignorance, but what is bastard rosewood as opposed to just rosewood?

Jon-bastard rosewood is just what I've always heard this wood called-it doesn't look anything like rosewood-I've thought the trees must look the same but really I don't know-I have a few woods that I only know by the names that wood dealers and loggers use -example chechen I've always called poison wood, someone not long ago told me it was chechen, the next time I talk to my friends down south I'll ask what the real name of bastard rosewood is-oh I also have some boards that were brought up from down there (Honduras) that have never been identified.
    Brent the top is 7/8"thick.

Very, very nice. The top is amazing and I really like the design. When I first saw just the 1st pic of the top I thought it was going to be a very formal piece, and the angle made the top seem to be floating. Viewed from the front I like it even better - very classy, nice flowing lines without being pretentious.

Excellent piece, Edward. Great grain match up top (book-match).. nice legs (not as good as Heidi Klum's but great for furniture ).. float top with bread-broads and drawer fronts that contrast. Many design elements blended into one to create a very unique piece.

    Sarge..
