    Loquat HF

    this is a little piece of loquat...it wasnt big enough to make much of anything but I couldnt leave it be..so again I made it round.....critques and comments welcome

    Where the heck does loquat come from? Sounds kind of strange! But a nice little vessel turned from it.

    Jeff, ..I just found out about them a few weeks ago....dont know where else they grow

    Nice little NE hollow form David! Pretty wood - great looking finish! Never heard of this wood before - but then - I don't get out much!

    They grow all over Florida. Beautiful evergreen foliage and small but tasty fruit--taste like peaches a little bit. Cedar Waxwings love them and will strip a tree in one day as they pass through in the spring.

    Neat wood, great form and finish. How small do you consider small, it looks to be a bit bigger than "small", but it could just be I have nothing to judge size against.
