    Wally, The beads are great! THey make your eyes go crazy if you look at it to long! Nice finial and combo of woods!

    I have looked at that pic a few times now and it becomes nicer looking with every viewing. I can't say anything that hasn't already been said. It is a stunning piece of work

    BL...Big leaf maple grows in the Pac. NW, where I lived for most of my life. Most of the maple burl as used by woodturners is BL maple. It is often highly figured...Most quilted and fiddleback maple is Big Leaf maple.
