    first finished project

here are some pictures of my first finished project. It is rick maple and walnut with a rosewood fret board took me three months of evenings and weekends to build. It is something I always wanted to do Including the tools I bought to build it it cost me about 2,000 dollars but I will build more any critcism or compliments would be greatly appreciated

Guitar looks good... great in fact. The only criticism I have is on the pics. They are kinda blurry and small. This type of work deserves really good pics! I have never built a musical instrument before but they seem to be popular as of late.

Nice Mockingbird style! I always liked them, but they never fit me right.
Kind of looks like the new 40th Anniversary model, but I like your darker finish better. Awesome!

Mark it screams I put a set of zakk wylde pickups in it and the intonation is spot on the old measure twice cut once but I measured 4 or 5 times to be absolutely sure. Thanks for the kind comments

Hey - Awesome - And now you have some great tools, too!! Make another one and tell us how much you put into that one... then give it to me!

My only critique was going to be for the original photos. The guitar looks GREAT.

How about a sound byte of your favorite riff?

I have no clue if you achieved the sound you were looking for Justin but.. the guitar itself is fantastic looking. I would re-think shooting with lacquer if looks as good as in the second set of pictures I looked at. But.. I do know that pictures can be decieving.

    Sarge..
