    Bedrock 605 - Before & After

Several weeks ago I posted about a beat up Bedrock 605 Type 6 I acquired at a local antique coop. I opted restore it the best I could with reasonable effort and cost, though I didn't take the time to go off the deep end. With spring shop time looming large, this is where I've got to stop for the time being...I fixed the handle, cleaned up as much rust as I could, replaced a screw in the rear tote, honed the blade, painted the top, and generally just gave it some TLC and elbow grease.

    Nice restore!

    Scott,
Wow, nice job! And just elbow grease was used?

    It looks like a keeper!

It is alive! Great job. Amazing how well some of these basket cases can turn out.

Very nice. I have about 4 of these to do myself (not Bedrock). I will take them about as far as you did, and use them. Thanks for the pics.
