Here is a walnut bowl I finished turning. It is 8 3/4" across and 2 1/4" deep. Finished with Antique Oil.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] Hope you all got a nice stash. Because this was seized at the border today.
OUTSTANDING!
I like the shape and the way that you centered the grain to get that "bowtie" effect... Nice form and finish, DO IT AGAIN!

Bernie, The way the grain came out is so very symetrical it looks very balanced! Pretty and simple that is best most of the time.

All three bowls are very nice, but this one is my favorite. I just like the grain in this wood. I am, as we say down here, "kinda partial" to it.
All the best.

Bernie - great form, beautiful wood and finish! Simple in style yet really grabs and holds your attention! As always Bernie - very nice work!

Another beauty from Bernie! Love the shape and the thick sides. You're on a roll!
Thanks. Like I said it was toss up between this one and the ambrosia maple. I really like turning walnut. I will take a profile picture of all three bowls and post them tomorrow night.

If at first you don't succeed, look in the trash for the instructions.
