    A Simple Finger Pull

I've been working on this project that required a simple finger pull. I couldn't use a brass pull, because the drawer sits flush behind another piece of the puzzle.

So, I scratched my head for a while and came up with this.
First, I used a 1" forstner bit, coming in from the back side about 1/8". I then used a 3/4" forstner bit, centered on the dimple left by the 1" bit.... and went all the way through.

I then went back with the 1" bit.... centering on the hole made by the first drill... and went down, leaving about 3/32" of an inch short of going all the way through.

Worked like a charm.... Left a nice little rim on the inside for your finger to grab on to.

I used a 3/4" because my fat finger fit.... if my fat finger fits.... then it should be OK for anybody else....

I would have just driven a 16 penny nail in it from my 16 penny bent nail jar and called it a day.

Good things from Flowery Branch not counting the Atlanta Falcons...

Back to details that await below.

    Sarge..
