Ignore thread option?

Is there any chance for an "ignore this thread" option? Knots has one, and it's awfully handy for ignoring political and otherwise nuisance threads.

In times like these, blood pressure-reduction is especially useful.

There is an option here where you can place certain users on your ignore list and their posts don't open when you opne a thread. It just says this person is on your ignore list and gives you the option for opeing their post or response or not.

vBulletin does not have an option to ingnore a particular thread however the new version due out soon may have this option. I don't have a comprehensive list of the new features, as soon as we find out we will let you know.

I'll be happy to wait and see if there's a feature.

I'd rather not ignore individual users - I frequently find that the people whose OT posts I detest have lots of other good things to say elsewhere.

Fortunately, there aren't a lot of trolls around.
