    Grizzly 12 x 20 Lathe and Stand

This is my first wood turning lathe. It is a Grizzly G0658 which is a 12 x 20 with variable speed control. I am pleased with the ability of this lathe as well as the fit and finish.

I built a stand for it using SYP construction lumber milled flat and glued up. The joinery is mortise and tenon with bolts and threaded rod to pull it together.

Mark that is a great looking setup. Bench looks stout and well made. I almost bought the Griz but they were backordered when I went to buy for quite a while so bought the 1220 Jet.
