    Oak stair case finished finally!

Here are some pics of my oak stair case project. I glued up all the treads and risers from 4/4 and 6/4 red oak and added a bull nose to the treads. I then screwed and glued the treads with liquid nails and covered the holes with plugs. After staining I used three coats of poly, the last being semi gloss at SWMBO insistance. She was right as usual. I really like they way they turned out even though it was a lot of work preparing the rough wood. Thanks to all who helped me at SMC; you made it happen.. Alan in Md.
