Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.

To succeed in life, you need three things: a wishbone, a backbone and a funnybone.

    Mark,
That is some really pretty stuff. Hopefully the proceeds will help you finish the Rev A and get you going on the Rev B concrete lathes.

    Good luck.

    very classy!

There may be some trees that look better than that stuff, Mark; but that is plum gorgeous. LOML just commented how nice that someone passed it on instead of burning it. Her uncle who had five American blck walnut trees in his yard, burned the shed limbs for years. Very much looking forward to seeing the finished turnings.

I am sooooo jealous of you folks that have access to that kind of wood. Up here in Northwest Montana, its nothing but pine, birch, elm, maybe an oak or maple once in awhile and lots of pine cones and fresh air.

That is one beautiful piece of wood!!!

Beautiful wood, looks like you are no stranger to that chainsaw. Great eye for where you made your cuts!

Thanks Skip, I've spent some time weilding a chainsaw. The eye for where to cut is a combination of experience and a bit of luck, but yeah, I thought about it for a while. The first cut was important as all the others had to follow its lead.
